Now in it’s second year and launching on Monday 10th February 2020, The West Midlands Workplace Wellbeing Challenge is an opportunity for businesses just like yours to implement a dedicated employee wellbeing programme, in a fun, engaging and importantly inclusive way.  Joining other businesses across the West Midlands to improve the health and wellbeing of your employees. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a 3-person start-up or a multinational company, investing in your team’s wellbeing leads to a more positive and productive environment for everyone.

It aims to support employers just like you to implement a dedicated health and wellbeing programme.

You can get access for all of your employees, a post-challenge Engagement Report and an Investors in Wellbeing certificate all from only £150.

During the last West Midlands Challenge:

  • 89.5% noticed an improvement in their health
  • 66% had positive conversations about health and wellbeing at work
  • 22% felt less stressed
  • 98.1% would take part in a future challenge

How it Works

Kaido’s inclusive Wellbeing Challenges are designed to engage all employees across your business with their health and wellbeing in a fun and interactive way.

A six week challenge

The inclusive Kaido Challenge is designed to engage all employees across your business in a fun and interactive way. The challenge will introduce a variety of health and wellbeing concepts, all based on people’s personal motivations

Supporting employees’ mental health

Kaido is a holistic health challenge. As well as helping with physical and nutritional aspects of wellbeing, Kaido focuses on your team’s mental health – the leading cause of absence in the workplace. Of those people who finish a Kaido challenge, 37% report a decrease in work-related stress, 40% report noticing an improvement in their general mood, and 51% report an increase in workplace motivation.

Get your workplace moving

Their challenges are designed to get your team moving. Whether it’s squatting while brushing your teeth or going from sedentary to 5k, they’ll motivate your team to enjoy exercising and help them make physical activity part of their daily routine.  Kaido support Google Fit and Apple Healthkit, meaning your employees can connect their wearables, or manually enter their activity to track their progress.

Kickstart your wellness agenda

Following the six week challenge, you will be provided with an Engagement Report to help you evaluate the programme’s impact and better understand the health and wellbeing needs of your people.

By signing up to this 3 month programme, you will get:

  • Access for all employees
  • Trophies and Rewards
  • Post Challenge Engagement Report
  • Investors in Wellbeing Certificate

So what are you waiting for, join Kathy and Chantall from the Hands On At Work team and take on the challenge!  Here’s the link for more information about the 6-week programme: https://kaido.org/community-challenges/west-midlands-feb-2020
