The aim
Southco had a strong reason to call in Hands on at Work, which was to offer a benefit to the entire workforce as a part of its Global Wellbeing programme, which promotes physical, mental and financial wellness.
The delivery
Onsite massages are scheduled on a quarterly basis and take place in either a quiet, private meeting room or in the organisation’s bespoke chill-out areas.
Staff take-up was so positive that Southco recently increased the number of Hands on at Work therapists at each session to cope with demand.
Kathy and her team also attend the organisation’s annual family day where not just employees but also their friends and family get to have a free massage.
The difference made Southco has discovered that this is one of the most popular employee benefits it offers.
The therapists from Hands on at Work were praised by staff for taking a deep, personal interest in not just delivering each massage, but taking time to understand and meet the unique health needs of each individual.
The result
As a result, employees have been requesting the same therapist time and time again.
